Over time, this curiosity evolved into a tool for understanding others and became a cornerstone of his work as a career entrepreneur. John is the founder of GameTree, a gamer friend-finding app where he has applied personality science to create millions of deep, meaningful connections.
John’s passion for personality psychology extends beyond business. He has taught workshops around the world, sharing insights into how these systems can improve relationships, careers, and personal growth. Recognizing the need for an accessible and scalable approach for people to accurately learn about themselves, John developed the TypeScience test. This innovative tool brings advanced personality insights to a broader audience without requiring analysis by multiple independent experts, or relying on purely theoretical frameworks, subjectively guessing about results, and biased self-reporting.

Austin has dedicated over 14 years to exploring personality typology. With a BA in Psychology from UC Irvine, he moved beyond traditional systems like MBTI to seek more scientific approaches. In 2018, he discovered the Objective Personality System, a revolutionary framework validated by double-blind studies.
As the leader of the largest Objective Personality community, Austin organized innovative projects like typing tournaments, coaching programs and surveys, fostering engagement among hundreds of participants. He also founded an advanced training group, where members collaborated to refine their skills.
Austin is passionate about making personality science accessible, combining research and community-building to help Objective Personality become more mainstream.
